I thought I’d pop in for a little visit
If I was too eager, and went too fast
Well, that isn’t such a crime, now is it?
To lose some control when you’re having a blast

It’s awful the way your pets reacted
It’s allergies of some sort, I’m sure
Your day-to-day life may be impacted
But you are tenacious, and will endure

The weather? Come now, you cannot blame me
as if I’m some god – how very droll!
Or rather, quite rude, the way you shame me
For forces not under my control

Please calm yourself now, don’t be a hater
When life doesn’t go according to plan
Besides, I just left a tiny crater
It’s barely a spot on the Yucatán…
