Lyrics:
Oh, it’s crystal clear
That you do whatever suits you best
I’m a vessel adrift,
Rifted sails, ropes a knotted mess
Are ravens descending
A spirited ending
Or not quite as dark as they seem?

Now you’re fanning the flames
And I watch when you do as you please
If the pressure starts building
Please pick the right time for release
The clock strikes the hour
And sweetness turns sour
A nightmare invading the dream

What a tangled web you’ve stuck me in
Such a jumble, I don’t know where to begin, to begin
Such a jumble

Oh, the roof’s caving in
And the blood rushing out in a tick
Is that you at the helm?
Overwhelming the compass too quick
The horizon is wide
And about to collide
With the moon dropping down to the brink

Now I’m thrown for a loop
On my wings, which are sprouting too soon
Next, my vision grows fuzzy
And fades with the light of the moon
An open door creaking
The vessel is leaking
Thoughts that I thought were extinct

What a tangled web you’ve stuck me in…

My brain starts to scatter
Like raindrops that splatter
Then chain into rivers so brisk

All connection is lost
There’s a spark, but the fire won’t catch
Crisp images sinking below
And the sail is too tattered to patch
Away you slither
The dream starts to wither
And sleep is too much of a risk

What a tangled web you’ve stuck me in…
